QR Payment

Introduction

QR payment (QR Tag 30) is the cashless payment for goods and services via thai QR code.  The company generate own QR Code in the format specified by the bank and display to the payer to scan via any banks' mobile banking.  BBL will send the payment confirmation and the reference specified in the QR Code immediately after the transaction is successful.    

Why use this API?

1. Payment Confirmation

    After the payment is successful, BBL will send the payment confirmation to Company's registered endpoint (URL). In case that the connection is lost or timeout, BBL will re-send the payment confirmation to merchant up to 3 times.

2. Inquiry

    If the company would like to check the transaction status, they can use the inquiry function.

3. Void

  The company are able to cancel the payment transaction by using the reference numbers. BBL will immediately refunds to payer account, this can support for both BBL & other banks account. (Can be voided before settlement time at 23.00 hrs.)

This service is eligible for corporate users only

Subject to terms and conditions specified by Bank.

The company must exchange connection information with the bank and sign a service agreement with the bank.

Q4. How do I get the SSL certificate for connecting to this service?

The company prepares a public certificate for BBL.

QR Tag 30

Thai QR Code Payment is a standard that the Bank of Thailand (BoT) has resulted in cooperation between international card network service providers, including AmericanExpress, JCB, Mastercard, UnionPayInternational and Visa along with banks and payment service providers (such as TrueMoney, mPay and Blue Pay) in jointly developing and using the same QR Code standard, which allows merchants to use QR Code according to this standard to receive payments from a variety of channels.

The organization of Thai QR Payment will use the specification according to the QR Code EMVCo. standard, with the details of the organization as follows.

Guide for using the Thai QR Payment logo

1. The Thai QR Payment logo is placed on a dark blue background, Fonts on this section must be displayed in white color.   2. QR payment icon embedded inside the QR code image, size must not exceed 7% of the QR code image. Correction of 15% by leaving a white border area around the symbol. in order not to affect the readability of the QR Code information.
